Thiblet
Photography isn’t just taking photos – it’s capturing deep connections and unforgettable experiences. I’m Christina Thiblet (pronounced Tee-blay,) a photographer who grew up next to a towering glacier, the rhythmic ocean waves and the evergreen forests of Vancouver Island, Canada.
My journey with photography began in the darkroom, where I fell in love with the process of watching images appear like magic on paper. But it was my passion for food, wine, and travel that led me to France, where I was met with the markets of Provence, the winding roads above the côte d’azur and a wood-fired bread oven that led me into a whole world of French Art de Vivre and great conversations over a glass of wine and a long meal.
With a Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, I’ve been able to bring my studies to life through my camera as I dive into the intricacies of what makes French living and culture so alluring.
I bring this curiosity and authenticity to every shoot. I help you to translate what you do into images that capture the imagination and transport you to a faraway place, whether it be a a little intimate and rustic could-only-be-french experience or that slice of «je ne sais quoi» luxury, even if it means I roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty in the process.
Every shot is a journey – a celebration of flavour, culture and emotion. Fluent in French and English and available for travel from Fontainebleau to the rest of France, Europe and beyond, I bring my expertise to create captivating imagery with soul.
Let’s collaborate to create beautiful images to connect your story to your audience. Contact me today to begin this journey together.

My approach to photography is rooted in capturing the essence of a moment. Whether it’s a wedding, a family gathering, or a scenic landscape, I strive to go beyond mere documentation and instead aim to convey the emotions, atmosphere, and intricate details that make each moment unique.
