Hawaï en un clin d'œil / Hawaii in the blink of an eye

A snowstorm one day and a tropical beach the next. I can safely say, it never becomes normal. I am still in awe of living in a day and age where this can happen and even more thrilled when it happens unexpectedly! Kind of like the time mom and dad decided to come with me to New York for a day, or as they say, “for dinner.”

In the last few months I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had two of these, unscheduled, miniature sun holidays, 24 hours each, in the middle of the pacific. The big island of Hawaii (the youngest of the islands) and the oldest Hawaiian island, Kauai. It’s definitely a welcome change to the grey winter skies in the Île de France and Vancouver alike!
